📸 Catalog-Only Photos — Full Guide

Overview

Catalog-Only Photos let you upload images for your internal use that never crosslist to marketplaces.
Think of these as your private photo notes — they stay in your List Perfectly Catalog but are hidden from crossposting.

📝 Description

Upload photos for your internal use only.
These images will never crosslist to any marketplace but will always remain viewable in your List Perfectly catalog listing.

This is perfect for keeping reference photos, receipts, or other visuals tied to a listing — all in one place without showing them to buyers.

💡 Common Uses

Use Catalog-Only Photos for anything you need to keep with your listing but don’t want shared publicly. Examples include:

  • Receipts or invoices for tracking cost of goods

  • Photos of items on a scale for shipping weight reference

  • Whiteboard or note photos used during inventory prep

  • Reference images used for AI analysis or listing creation

  • Condition details or private documentation for internal tracking

Basically — if you need it for your records, not your customers — make it a Catalog Only photo.

⚙️ How It Works

Step 1: Upload images normally

Upload your images to the LP Catalog just like you always do.

Step 2: Open Bulk Actions

Once uploaded, click on the Bulk Actions button above your image gallery.

Step 3: Choose “Catalog Only Photos”

From the menu, select Catalog Only Photos.

Step 4: Select which photos to hide

Click on each photo you want to mark as Catalog-Only.
These will be the images that won’t crosslist to marketplaces.

Step 5: Confirm your selection

Click Confirm to save your choices.

You’ll now see a 🚫 icon in the lower-left corner of each catalog only photo.
This tells you that the image is Catalog-Only and won’t be included when crosslisting.

🔁 Changing Back Later

If you decide later that you do want to include an image in crosslisting, simply:

  1. Go back to Bulk Actions

  2. Choose Catalog Only Photos again

  3. Deselect the image

  4. Confirm

The 🚫 icon will disappear, and the photo will now be included in future crosslistings.

🧭 Quick Tips

  • You can mix catalog only and listed photos on the same item — perfect for keeping extra info tucked away.

  • Use catalog only photos as visual records for bookkeeping or cost tracking without cluttering your marketplace listings.

  • They’re always visible to you and your team inside your List Perfectly Catalog.

🎯 Summary

Catalog-Only Photos give you a simple way to keep internal documentation tied to your listings — without ever showing those images to buyers.
Stay organized, keep your data in one place, and control what goes public with just a few clicks.
