Let’s get started!
​

The onboarding widget will first guide you through installing the List Perfectly Extension.
​

The extension connects List Perfectly with your marketplaces and powers features like importing, crosslisting, linking, and Smart Import.
​

In the onboarding widget:

After installation, you’ll see instructions for pinning the extension.
​

📌 Using Microsoft Edge? You will still select Add to Chrome to install the extension.
​

Pinning keeps the extension easy to access while you work.

🔗 You can return to onboarding at any time using Continue Onboarding.
​

Next, the onboarding widget will help you connect the marketplaces where you already sell.
​

You can connect supported marketplaces such as:

Connecting your marketplaces allows List Perfectly to find your existing listings and prepare them for Smart Import.
​

It also helps you:

✅ Import your existing inventory
✅ Connect matching listings across marketplaces
✅ Crosslist to additional marketplaces
✅ Manage your inventory from one Catalog
​

In the onboarding widget:

🔒 You do not need to enter your marketplace passwords into List Perfectly.
​

💡 Tip: Before moving on, open each marketplace in your browser and make sure you're signed in.
​

You don't have to connect every marketplace at once. You can always return to the Connection Wizard and add more later.
​

If you already have listings for sale on your marketplaces, Smart Import helps bring them into your List Perfectly Catalog.
​

Instead of importing the same item separately from every marketplace, Smart Import scans your connected marketplaces and helps determine which listings belong to the same item.
​

You may have the same shirt listed on:

Smart Import can help identify those three marketplace listings as the same item. You can review the match and connect them to one item in your List Perfectly Catalog. 🔗

This helps you build an organized Catalog without creating unnecessary duplicate items.
​

🧪 Smart Import is currently in beta. You can use it now while we continue making improvements.
​

From Smart Import, select Start Scan.
​

Smart Import will begin collecting your live listings from the marketplaces you connected.
​

📌 Draft and sold listings are not collected.
​

The scan may take a few minutes for smaller inventories. If you have hundreds or thousands of listings, it may take longer.
​

You can leave the Smart Import page while your scan is running.
​

When the scan finishes, make sure you see listings from each marketplace you connected.
​

If a marketplace is missing, check that:

If needed, you can scan again.
​

⚠️ Important: A rescan currently collects everything again. You cannot rescan only one marketplace.
​

Also, do not start a new scan while an import is running. Starting another scan will stop the current import.
​

After your listings are collected, Smart Import may identify listings that appear to be duplicates on the same marketplace.
​

For example, if the same shirt is accidentally listed twice on Mercari, Smart Import may flag those listings for you to review.
​

The same shirt listed once on Mercari and once on Poshmark is not considered a duplicate. Those listings will be matched later.
​

When reviewing a possible duplicate, you can use information such as:

You can choose:

Delete 🗑️ – Ends that copy on the marketplace. It will not be imported.

Not a duplicate ✅ – Keeps the listing as it is.

View 👁️ – Opens the live marketplace listing so you can review it before deciding.
​

Continue until the Duplicates count reaches 0.
​

⚠️ Be careful when choosing Delete. This ends the live marketplace listing and cannot be undone through Smart Import.
​

💡 If you aren't sure whether two listings are duplicates, choose Not a duplicate.
​

After you've reviewed your duplicates, Smart Import analyzes your listings to find items that may represent the same product across different marketplaces.
​

It may compare information such as:

Smart Import is only finding possible matches during this step.
​

Nothing is being approved for you. You'll have a chance to review the results before the listings are connected.
​

Open the Match listings tab.
​

Here, Smart Import shows marketplace listings that it believes belong to the same item.
​

You may see:

One of the fastest ways to review a match is to compare the photos.

If the listings clearly show the same item, select Confirm.

If they don't belong together or Smart Import missed the correct listing, use Merge to find and connect the correct listing.
​

You'll see filters that help organize your review:
​

Needs review – Smart Import found a possible match that needs a closer look.

Auto-matched – Smart Import found listings that are likely the same item. Give the photos a quick check before confirming.

Single – Smart Import found the item on only one marketplace.

Confirmed – You've already approved the listing or match. 🎉
​

💡 For larger inventories, we recommend reviewing:

Needs review → Auto-matched → Single

This lets you handle the listings requiring the most attention first.
​

You don't have to confirm every listing individually.
​

After reviewing a page:

Your selections stay selected when you move between pages and filters.
​

Choose Clear if you want to remove your selections without making changes.
​

Select Merge.

The Merge with… window lets you search your collected marketplace listings for the correct item.
​

Try searching by:

When you find the correct listing, select Merge beside it.

You can also select exactly two rows and choose Merge selected.
​

Continue reviewing until all of your listings are under Confirmed.
​

You'll know you're finished when:

✅ Confirmed matches the number under All
✅ Every other filter shows 0
✅ The Import All Listings button turns green
​

You're now ready to complete your import!
​

Select Import All Listings.
​

Smart Import will begin bringing the remaining marketplace listings into your List Perfectly Catalog using the matches you approved.
​

You may see:

The amount of time needed depends on how many listings you have.

💻✨ You do not need to keep your browser open.
​

The import runs on List Perfectly's systems, so you can close your browser and come back later.
​

⚠️ Do not start another scan while your import is running. Starting a new scan will stop the current import.
​

Once the import finishes, open Listings in your List Perfectly Catalog.

Take a quick look at your newly imported items.
​

Check the Platforms area to make sure each item shows the marketplaces you expected.
​

You can also sort your Catalog by Created to make your newest imported listings easier to find.
​

Some listings may show an Issue if information required by a marketplace is missing. Open the listing to review and add any missing information.
​

If you discover a match that needs to be changed, return to Import & Merge Listings and use Reopen and Merge to correct it.
​

Your marketplaces are connected and your existing inventory is now in your List Perfectly Catalog.
​

You're ready to:

✅ Manage your inventory
✅ Crosslist to additional marketplaces
✅ Keep marketplace listings connected
✅ Update and organize your Catalog
✅ Use supported sales and automation tools
✅ Sell on more marketplaces faster

Some Smart Import review tasks can be completed from a phone, including reviewing and confirming matches.
​

However, the List Perfectly browser extension is required for:

For the smoothest onboarding experience, use a desktop or laptop computer.
​

Smart Import includes help directly inside the feature.
​

Select Learn in the upper-right corner of any Smart Import screen to see instructions for the step you're currently completing.
